Privacy Policy

Tourah (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our mobile app and related services (the “App”).

1Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email, password
  • Payment Information: Handled by third-party processor; we don’t store full payment data
  • Tour Content: Data uploaded by sellers
  • Photos for photo tasks: Some hunts include photo tasks. If you take or pick a photo for one, we upload it to our servers. We store it with the names you entered for the hunt (or “Player”) and the date. Photo tasks are optional and never graded, so you can always skip them. We keep one photo per player per task, and a new photo replaces the old one. We process your photos to provide the hunt (contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by having your photos deleted (see Photos below).

If you take a photo with the camera, the app also saves it to your phone’s photo library (if you allow it). That copy stays on your device. We cannot access it or delete it.

  • Show your photo-task photos to the creator of the experience you played. We do not use them for anything else, and we do not grade them.

3How We Share Your Information

  • With other users (limited info)
  • With payment providers

  • With the creator of an experience: your photo-task photos, with the names you entered and the date.
  • If required by law

Experiences are made by independent creators. When you send a photo for a photo task, the creator of that experience can see it in their creator tools. Before your first photo task, the app tells you “The creator will see this photo.” We do not publish your photos or show them to other players. Tourah is responsible for your photos. The creator only views them in our creator tools and follows our rules for creators. Schools and companies can get a standard data processing agreement on request at support@tourah.com.

We never sell your data.

4Your Rights and Choices

Photos

  • You can skip any photo task. Sending a new photo replaces your earlier one.
  • We delete your photos when the creator deletes them, when the experience, step or task is deleted, or when you delete your account. Deleted files are gone from our storage within 14 days. Write to support@tourah.com to have a single photo deleted.
  • If you play without an account, we still keep a user record with a random ID, and your photos are linked to it. You can delete it in the app with “Delete account”, which also deletes your photos.

5Where We Store Your Information

  • Photos are stored with Google Cloud in the EU (Belgium, europe-west1).

6Data Security

We take reasonable measures, but no system is 100% secure.

7Children’s Privacy

To use the app you must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

  • When a group plays on one device, the person using the device sends the photos for the whole group and agrees for everyone in it.
  • You must be at least 16 to agree to us storing your photos. If you are younger, you confirm that a parent or guardian allowed it.

8Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Notice will be provided when appropriate.
